1 litre of tears

Just finished watching all 11 series and my eyes are sore from crying. I was skeptical at first when my friends said it really is a litre of tears. And the result is I couldn't stop crying from the 2nd series till the end.

A memoir about Aya Kito or Aya Ikeuchi who had spinocerebellar atrophy. Basically the cerebellum is affected and the neurons looses its function. The muscles responds slowly by loosing its ability to contract, relax and make the body move and coordinate. Speech is also affected but other thinking abilities remain the same.

The actors did a really good job in conveying emotions throughout the whole story.

Be thankful that we are healthy and not counting the days we have to live. Even if we are, we must still live our life to the fullest and not look back at the past with regret...
