Apple 2:Fighting with the person inside me

Watching The Last Samurai by Tom Cruise made me think, we have to fight till the end, no matter with sword or gun powder, and die fighting or survive the fight with honour. An honour we owe to ourselves. An honour for the fight to live.

The most important thing in a fight is the spirit, courage and faith to face and accept what is written for us in the future. Unfortunately, facing life is much easier than accepting life. When we have accepted life that means we have understood the meaning to survive and not just merely living. Not only physically surviving but spiritually, mentally and emotionally surviving. We face life everyday but with negative emotions that is not easy to overcome sometimes. Accepting what we do not like or prefer is a great challenge to the emotional system. It turns everything upside down. Nevertheless, without these emotional storms, we will not see what is beyond life, beyond breathing everyday and carrying out tasks that we do routinely. With these storms, we can learn more about the humans and how they face pressure and things they do not prefer.

There are two types of ways in which a person choses to face what is not in their preferences. The first one consists of a person who has to face what they do not like everyday. There is no route of escape prepared for them. Thus they have to clear the way and make up their own route as they move through it. Dark or bright, they have to face the route with spirit, courage and faith. Every experience counts no matter what weapon is used to counter the problem.

The second one is where a person has an option to face the things they do not prefer by running away. Turning back in to the route they took to reach there in the first place and starting over. Also taking everything they brought along the way as experiences and applying it to their new life. At the same time easily placing the past in the past and not mixing it up with the future.

Either way there is no right or wrong. There is also no obligation whether to accept or deny what we do not like. It is called human instincts and desire. But there is always a middle line. At this line there exist coorporation and compromise. In life, just to reach to this simple line involves struggle and sacrifice. Often coming from only one side before the other party comprehends the situation.

We need objections in life to improve. If everything is always going ‘right’, there will be no ‘wrong’ and no improvements as people believe that ‘right’ is the right way and ‘wrong’ does not exists. In other words, they would think they are perfect.
