raya 1

The days of Eid has passed although the celebration goes on for a month until Syawal ends. Within that few days my life has passed through many incidents that made my brain swirl.

1st incident..my mum's family.
2nd incident..my dad's family.
3rd incident..my past life.

For the 1st time me and my sis celebrated raya without my mum. Don't get me wrong, she is still alive only this time she is married to someone new. So its obvious that she has a new family. On the eve of raya i went back to my aunts place in selangor and she went back to her husbands place in perak. i feel like i am a mum who has one newly married daughter. weird huh..??!!

so anyway...i didn't see her till the 2nd day of raya. She was frolicking with her husband while i had to prepare the drinks and kuih. well.. i guess its practice for me in a way, just in case i have my own family. its kinda sad that i couldnt really have fun just the 3 of us. but then, it's a good thing she didn't invite me to her husbands. it would be kinda difficult to adjust. i have to use up every ounce of energy to try and cope with the new situation which is not what i need for raya.

raya with family...hmmm..i guess i gotta find my own complete family.

basically, ir anyone is thinking of having a divorce, make it as painless as possible for your kids so they don't go thru life emotionally tortured.
